Collecting and Using Your Personal Data

Types of Data Collected

Personal Data

In the process of organising and carrying out our tours, we generally receive some or all of the following information from customers:

  • Email address
  • First name and last name
  • Phone number

We use a third-party payment processing service, and we do not store your payment information ourselves.

We may ask if we can take photos during the tour, and use them on our social media pages or on our website to promote our tours. We will of course only do so if you give us explicit permission to do so. If you request (for example by email) us to delete these photos we will do so as soon as possible.

Use of Your Personal Data

We use the above personal data for the following purposes only: to make customer reservations, track those reservations before, and communicate directly with said customers via email, phone messaging services, or direct phone calls.

As a rule, emails between us and a customer will not be deleted unless said customer requests that we delete it (in which case we will).

We do not store any of our customers’ personal information in any other formats for any other reasons. All internal documents used to track customer reservations etc. use only the customer’s first name and the date of their reservation.

We will never share your personal information with others, except when passing on your information to other organisations who will make reservations on your behalf (e.g. for accommodation or transportation). We will of course only do this when you explicitly request us to do so. In this event we will only pass on your name and any other information you have explicitly permitted us to pass on.

Retention of Your Personal Data

We will retain your personal data only for as long as is necessary for the purposes set out in this Privacy Policy. We will retain and use your personal data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations (for example, if we are required to retain your data to comply with applicable laws), resolve disputes, and enforce our legal agreements and policies.

Deleting Your Personal Data

You have the right to request that we delete any personal data that we have collected about you. To do this please email us.

Please note, however, that we may need to retain certain information when we have a legal obligation or lawful basis to do so.

Disclosure of Your Personal Data

Law enforcement

Under certain circumstances, we may be required to disclose your personal data if required to do so by law or in response to valid requests by public authorities (e.g. a court or a government agency).

Other legal requirements

We may disclose Your Personal Data in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to:

  • Comply with a legal obligation
  • Protect against legal liability
